By Denise McInerney @ 8:10 PM :: 881 Views ::

Technical publisher O'Reilly Media launched a series of articles on women in technology on its web site. The series "Women in Technology: Hear Us Roar" was created by  Associate Editor Tatiana Apandi and features 30 articles by a variety of contributers.With articles such as  "Bringing up Girl Geeks", "Lowering the Veil" and "From Princess to Goddess: Female Success in IT" the series features a diversity of experiences and perspectives.

Said Apandi, "My hope is that the myriad of experiences you read about here will showcase how valuable it is to hear from different women at all stages of their careers and lives. Whether you believe that there is gender inequality within the tech community that we should all work to improve or if you think that there are no issues at all, one underlying truth is that we should support each other as individuals.”
