PASS WIT SIG To Launch at 2006 Summit

The 2006 PASS Community Summit was the site of a new SIG devoted to the interests of women in the organization. The Women in Technology (WIT) SIG will provide a way for women in PASS and those interested in issues that affect women in hi-tech to network, exchange ideas and learn from each other.
Growing out of three successful WIT events held at previous PASS Community Summits, the establishment of the SIG is the natural next step for the membership.
Primarily through its web site, the WIT SIG will provide a platform for members to continue the rich discussions begun during the Summit. It will provide participants with links to some of the many resources available. Through articles and interviews it will explore some of the complex issues facing women working in technology. |
